The aircraft tire manufacturing industry is small and dominated by four companies that control 85% of market share. The five main players in order of market share are: * Goodyear (United States) * Michelin (France) * Dunlop Aircraft Tyres (United Kingdom) - one of the few standalone manufacturers of aircraft tires along with Guilin Lanyu Aircraft Tire Development Co. * Bridgestone (Japan) Other manufacturers in the mix include two with facilities in China. Founded in 1980, Guilin Lanyu Aircraft Tire Development Co. is a Chinese manufacturer of aircraft tires based in Guilin and Singapore-based Giti Tire has a plant producing aircraft tires in Yinchuan, Ningxia.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.glnet.edu.cn/LANYU/ly_index.html )〕 The Triangle Group announced in 2012 a collaboration with the Harbin Institute of Technology to join the existing field by designing and manufacturing aircraft tires. Yokohama Rubber had been manufacturing aircraft tires since 1940 but shut down its operations and made no more deliveries after 2009. The company decided to close down the aircraft unit because its sales were low, having revenue of only 800 million JPY or about 8 million USD in the 2008-9 fiscal year, and it assessed the future outlook of the industry as lacking in strong growth. ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「List of aircraft tire companies」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
